Hi, I'm Amanda!!

 

I have been a Meteorologist at WSFA-12 News in Montgomery, Alabama since July of 2014. Anyone who knows me will tell you I am someone who is full of energy and confidence; I bring professionalism and personality to whatever team I work with. 

 

I graduated from Lyndon State College in May of 2014 with both a Bachelors of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and an Associate of Science in Electronic Journalism Arts.

In September of 2017, I earned the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation, a professional recognition of the quality of my weather broadcasts. The AMS grants the CBM designation to broadcast meteorologists who meet established criteria for scientific competence and effective communication skills in their weather presentations.
